Information we collect
When you book a sauna session, we (via our booking system, Acuity Scheduling) collect your name, email address, and phone number. If you pay online, your payment is handled directly by Stripe — we don't see or store your full card details.
As part of booking, you're also asked to confirm you've read and agree to our safety rules. We keep a record that this was accepted along with the date and time, but we don't ask you to disclose any health or medical information — the rules simply advise you to speak to your GP if certain conditions apply to you.
If you contact us by email or through the website, we'll collect whatever information you include in that message, such as your name and email address.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- manage and confirm your booking
- respond to your enquiries
- understand how visitors use our site, so we can improve it
- protect the site from spam and automated abuse
We don't use your information for any other purpose, and we never sell or rent it to anyone.
Cookies and third-party services
Our site uses a small number of third-party services that may set cookies or process data on our behalf:

- Google Search Console — a tool we use to monitor how the site performs in Google Search. It doesn't collect data directly from visitors to our site.
- Acuity Scheduling — our booking platform, which processes your name, email, phone number, and appointment details on our behalf.
- Stripe — our payment processor, which handles payment details securely. We don't store your card information.
When you first visit the site, you'll see a cookie banner where you can manage your cookie preferences.
Links to other websites
Our site includes links to our Facebook and Instagram pages. These are simple links — if you click them, you'll be taken to those platforms, which have their own privacy policies. We don't share any of your information with Facebook or Instagram through these links.
Who we share your data with
We share information only where necessary to run our booking service:
- Acuity Scheduling, to manage bookings
- Stripe, to process payments
- Google, for analytics and spam protection (reCAPTCHA)
We never share, sell, or rent your information to anyone else without your consent.
How long we keep your data
We keep booking and enquiry information only for as long as necessary to manage your booking and to meet our accounting and legal obligations. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months, as set out above.
How we protect your information
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the information you share with us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, so while we do our best to protect your information, we can't guarantee its absolute security.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- ask what information we hold about you
- ask us to correct any inaccurate information
- ask us to delete your information
- object to how we use your information
